Darrington Press has announced plans to release a series of Class Packs for use with its Daggerheart role playing game, a total of nine class-specific decks to be sold separately.
Each Daggerheart Class Pack includes all of the cards needed to create and advance a single character class from first through tenth level, a total of 76 cards in each pack. These cards include ancestry, community, subclass, and two domains for the featured class. The series will include packs for all nine classes from the Daggerheart Core Set.
Daggerheart was released last year (see “Darrington’s ‘Daggerheart’ Revealed”) and combines dice-based and card-based mechanics in a fantasy setting intended to give players more input in both character design and the campaign storyline.
Darrington Press will launch a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for the production of the new Class Packs next month. MSRP and release dates have not been announced as of this writing.
