Titan Comics has announced deluxe omnibus editions of three original Blade Runner series, Blade Runner 2019, Blade Runner 2029, and Blade Runner 2039, which together chronicle the story of Blade Runner Aahna “Ash” Ashina. Titan and Alcon Publishing have also released an official Blade Runner comics universe timeline, showing the chronology of all the series.
The three hardcover omnibus editions collect stories that were originally published as miniseries, then collected into paperback trades. All three are priced at $49.99 and will have two covers, one exclusive to the direct market.
Blade Runner 2019: The Complete Series Omnibus, by Blade Runner 2049 screenwriter Michael Green, co-writer Mike Johnson, and artist Andres Guinaldo, collects Blade Runner 2019: Los Angeles, Blade Runner 2019: Off-World and Blade Runner 2019: Home Again, Home Again. It will be released on September 2 with a regular cover by Ben Oliver and a direct market cover by Christian Ward.
Blade Runner 2029: The Complete Series Omnibus, by Johnson and Guinaldo, collects Blade Runner 2029 Vol 1: Reunion, Blade Runner 2029 Vol 2: Echoes and Blade Runner 2029 Vol 3: Redemption. Release date is October 7, and the book will have a regular cover by Claudia Caranfa and a direct market cover by Dani.
Blade Runner 2039: The Complete Series Omnibus, by Johnson and Guinaldo, collects Blade Runner 2039 Vol 1: Redemption, Blade Runner 2039 Vol 2: Upgrade and Blade Runner 2039 Vol 3: Ash and will be released on November 4 with a regular cover by Alan Quah and a direct market cover by Veronica Fish.
These three omnibi comprise the Ash saga (see “Titan Comics’ ‘Blade Runner 2039’ Will Wrap Up Three-Decade Storyline”). Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 have been adapted into an RPG (see “40 Years Later ‘Blade Runner’ Becomes an RPG”) and a board game (see “‘Blade Runner 2049: Nexus Protocol’”), and a new film is in the works (see “‘Blade Runner 2099’ Casting”).
