Possibilities shine on the night of the new moon!
This event is held once a month for a total of three days—on the day of the new moon and the days before and after it. This event will have special appearance rates and it will be harder for Pokémon to become full.
You may even meet Shiny Pokémon!

• May. 26 (Mon) at 4:00 a.m. to May. 29 (Thu) at 3:59 a.m.
Note: The day of the new moon is May. 27 (Tue).

• Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.
• Pokémon won’t get full easily during the first snack time of the day.
• You may even meet Shiny Pokémon!

Note: Murkrow’s and Honchkrow’s greater appearance rates are only in effect during New Moon Day #1.
A special appearance rate is a bonus that gives you an opportunity to encounter Pokémon you normally wouldn’t meet.
During the New Moon Day event, you’ll be able to encounter Darkrai in all areas, regardless of your sleep type.
Darkrai will sometimes appear during the first sleep research of the day, but will never appear during the second sleep research of the day.
Additionally, if you weren’t able to encounter Darkrai during sleep research, your chances of encountering Darkrai during New Moon Day sleep research will increase a little at a time.
Notes
• 【Important】 Each day of the New Moon Day event rolls over at 4:00 a.m.
• 【Important】 After the event ends, you’ll no longer be able to encounter Darkrai in any area.
• 【Important】 After the event ends, you’ll no longer be able to encounter Murkrow or Honchkrow outside of Greengrass Isle, Snowdrop Tundra, or the Old Gold Power Plant.
• You can use Murkrow Incense in any area until .
• Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked during the event.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked before the event began and select “Review Later” during the event, event bonuses will not be applied.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked during the event and select “Review Later” after the event has ended, event bonuses will be applied.
• Event bonuses do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial.
• Event bonuses will trigger regardless of which site you conduct your sleep research in.
• If overlapping events trigger more than one of the same type of bonus, the larger bonus will be applied.
There have been reports of Pokémon appearing that we haven’t seen around here before—maybe this is thanks to the sleep research you’ve all been conducting!
It may be possible to encounter them during sleep research sometime soon.
