Wizards of the Coast announced Magic Presents: Pride, a new FLGS event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community.
Magic Presents: Pride events will occur during Pride Month, between the dates of June 27, 2025 and June 29, 2025. It is a Commander format event with special rules: player Commanders will all gain the Partner mechanic, which allows them to essentially play with two Commanders in a single deck. The event will allow players to explore entirely new deck strategies for the event. Stores will receive a Chromatic Lantern promo to give out during this event.
These events can be scheduled starting April 4, 2025.
