Dog Man repeats in first at the weekend box office

It dropped nearly 62% but Dog Man was first at the domestic weekend box office again with an estimated $13.7 million. It has now grossed $54.1 million domestically. Over the week, it grossed $7.3 million internationally to lift that to $11.9 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed a little over $66 million over two weeks.

Heart Eyes debuted in second place with $8.5 million domestically.

Love Hurts debuted in third place with $5.8 million domestically and $1.1 million internationally for a worldwide debut of $6.9 million.

Mufasa: The Lion King slipped one spot to come in fourth with an estimated $3.9 million to bring its domestic gross to $235.2 million. Internationally, the film grossed $12.4 million over the week to lift that to $435.9 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $671.1 million.

Companion dropped to fifth place after debuting in second and grossed a little over $3 million to bring its domestic total to $15.5 million. Over the week, it grossed $5.7 million internationally to bring that total to $11.2 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $26.7 million.

In comic film news…

Kraven the Hunter domestically remained at a little over $24.9 million. Internationally, the movie gained a bit, about $200,000, to have grossed $36.9 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed just $61.9 million after six weeks.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim held domestically at $9.2 million. Internationally the film remained at $11.3 million. The movie has grossed just $20.5 million.

Venom: The Last Dance remain at $139.8 million domestically. Internationally, it grossed about $100,000 over the week to bring that to $339.1 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $478.8 million.

Solo Leveling: Reawakening remained at $3.4 million domestically. Internationally it remained at just under $3 million for a worldwide total of a little under $6.3 million.

The week’s overall box office success…

Numbers have 33 films earning $53,104,702 from 34,127 theaters. That’s a a big drop from the previous weekend’s $85,404,177 from 39,240 theaters and 63 films. The average earning was $1,556.09 which is also a decrease from the previous weekend’s $2,176.46.
