On October 30th, HOUF Games will introduce Nice to Know! Animals on Kickstarter, a new board game combining strategy with educational content centered around wildlife and conservation. Designed for players interested in animals and environmental themes, the game aims to balance strategic gameplay with information on various species, including endangered animals.
Developed over two years by an international team, Nice to Know! Animals supports 1-6 players, offering both solo and family-friendly options for players ages 8 and up. The game includes a unique scoring system and illustrated animal cards designed to add an engaging, informative element to gameplay.
The creators worked alongside zoologists, art directors, and 3D artists to provide an experience that emphasizes accuracy and visual appeal. A notable feature allows Kickstarter backers to have their names printed as “adopted by” on animal cards, symbolizing a connection to conservation.
Available exclusively through Kickstarter, Nice to Know! Animals is a plastic-free production with a focus on sustainable materials and processes from manufacturing to shipping.
Based on feedback from over 200 playtesters, Nice to Know! Animals is intended to offer a strategic and accessible experience for those interested in both gameplay and wildlife knowledge. The Kickstarter campaign begins October 30th.
