Gritsilk Games has announced the upcoming release of RipCrypt on Kickstarter, a new tabletop role-playing game launching on November 5th. The game, designed for 1 to 8 players, takes place in the Undergrade, a maze of aqueducts, catacombs, and crypts beneath ancient ruins. Players will navigate hazards, traps, and challenges while seeking ancient knowledge to ascend to the Overgrade.
RipCrypt offers a streamlined approach, combining tactical mechanics with a focus on fast, straightforward gameplay. With hero creation taking just 10 minutes and combat resolutions handled quickly, the game is designed to minimize downtime and provide a smooth experience. The game features four simple stats and original artwork to support its lo-fi aesthetic.
The Kickstarter campaign will launch on November 5th.
