Last week, Nighthawk Games launched the Kickstarter campaign for Half Truth: Second Guess, the stand-alone sequel to the popular trivia game Half Truth. This new version includes updated trivia content and team-based gameplay, designed to appeal to both experienced trivia players and newcomers alike.
Half Truth: Second Guess was created by Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings and game designer Richard Garfield, known for Magic: The Gathering. The game introduces 200 new trivia questions, expands player capacity to 12, and adds a team competition feature. It also remains compatible with the original game, allowing players to mix content from both versions.
The game retains the core mechanics of allowing players to provide up to three answers per question, balancing risk and reward. Correct answers earn points, but a single wrong answer results in no points for the round.
The Kickstarter campaign for Half Truth: Second Guess is live and has surpassed its $10,000 goal, with over $36,000 pledged so far. The campaign ends on November 14, with future plans for retail availability.
