Real Fake Games has launched Quest Snakes, a fast-paced card game that focuses on recruiting and sending snakes on quests. In the game, players take on the role of guild leaders, tasked with assembling teams of snakes to complete various quests.
The game is divided into two main phases. In the first phase, players take turns recruiting pairs of snakes until they have a guild of 10. Once the recruitment phase is complete, players enter the questing phase, where they compete to complete quests that offer loot. Players secretly assemble a party of snakes and reveal them simultaneously, with the guild that has the most power winning the quest.
Different classes of snakes have varying strengths for different quests, and stronger snakes require more rest before they can be sent on another mission. The player with the most loot at the end of the game wins.
As of now, the Kickstarter campaign has raised $90,204 from 1,061 backers, surpassing its $10,000 goal. The campaign will run until October 31.
