Green Ronin Publishing has announced the release of the Quickstart guide for The Expanse: Transport Union Edition, now available for download. This new edition is based on the popular Expanse series by James S.A. Corey and offers players a chance to explore a fresh setting within the universe. The Quickstart can be downloaded from the Green Ronin Online Store and DriveThruRPG.com.
This release coincides with the final 14 days of Green Ronin’s crowdfunding campaign on Backerkit, where supporters can access new content, supplements, miniatures, dice, and other accessories for The Expanse: Transport Union Edition.
While the first edition of The Expanse RPG focused on the initial trilogy of novels, this new edition moves the timeline forward to the Transport Union era, set between books six and seven of the series. This period, relatively unexplored in the novels, allows for new stories and player-driven adventures. For those familiar with the original game, the core rules and character creation remain compatible, with the addition of new rules, ships, and technology relevant to the Transport Union era.
The Quickstart includes a condensed version of the rules and a pre-made adventure to help players get started right away, along with pre-generated characters ready for immediate use.
