Strange Worlds v1 #6, 1952 – Though often credited with the entire cover, Wally Wood seems to have only contributed the drawing of the female astronaut. One of his earliest collaborators, Joe Orlando, most likely drew the rest. They shared a similar stylistic approach, which made attribution sometimes difficult. On closer inspection, I think Wood either pencilled and inked the left-hand figure or inked over Orlando’s pencils. Feel free to share your own opinions in the comments section.
