Steamforged Games has revealed the upcoming launch of Bardsung: Tale of the Forsaken Glade, which will be available on Gamefound starting October 22nd. This new standalone game takes players into the Forsaken Glade, an ominous setting filled with new challenges and adventures.
As part of the campaign, those who follow the project before its launch will receive a free Overseer miniature, a creature that plays a role in the game’s battles. Additionally, returning backers from the original Bardsung campaign will be eligible for a free upgrade pack. This includes a revised rulebook, adventure book, errata cards, and new enemy cards from the Ancient Forge expansion, aimed at enhancing the gameplay experience.
Bardsung: Tale of the Forsaken Glade is set in a corrupted forest realm, once home to gods, and now dominated by a black dragon. Players will navigate through procedurally generated maps, encountering various enemies such as fae creatures and dragon-warped cultists. The game offers a range of branching storylines and paths, ensuring that each campaign is unique and dynamic.
Players will have customization options for their characters, allowing them to upgrade abilities, multiclass, and shape their journey. The game can be played solo or with up to five players.
Bardsung: Tale of the Forsaken Glade builds on the gameplay of the original Bardsung, offering an all-new campaign with advanced combat mechanics and evolving storylines.
