Grave Trigger, developed by Cardboard Dynamo, is now on Gamefound. This miniatures skirmish game offers players diceless combat, measureless movement, and a narrative-driven campaign option.
Designed with a low model count, Grave Trigger aims to provide a fast and straightforward experience for players of various skill levels. It features a measureless movement system, where players move their miniatures without the use of traditional tape measures. Combat is also diceless, meaning it relies on strategy and decisions rather than random chance. Players can use scatter terrain as weapons during combat, and characters have the ability to create mutated terrain that can be used for cover, height advantages, or even as animated allies.
The game offers two modes: player vs. player (PvP) skirmishes and a narrative campaign mode. In the campaign mode, players will encounter branching paths and multiple endings, with choices made in each scenario influencing the direction of the overall story.
Characters in the game are equipped with Animus Reactors, bio-mechanical armors that evolve as they take damage. As characters receive damage, players can trigger Damage State cards, unlocking new abilities and creating shifts in the battle.
For players interested in exploring the story further, audio dramas are available, offering additional information about the game’s setting and lore. These will be released over time to expand on the narrative.
