Son of Oak Game Studio has released a new expansion for their tabletop RPG City of Mist, called Local Legends. Available now in digital format, the expansion will also be available in print this November.
Local Legends adds nine new districts to the game, each with unique characteristics and stories. This expansion allows players to explore new areas such as Chinatown, where the supernatural and the earthly blend, and Fortune Row, a gambler’s haven with high stakes and risky ventures. Each district offers new challenges and opportunities for both seasoned players and those new to the game.
The expansion provides a mix of one-shot adventures and a longer campaign, making it a flexible option for groups that might not have time for extended play. New character options, including additional themebooks, give players more ways to customize their gameplay experience.
Among the features of the new expansion are familiar mythological and fairy tale figures who find themselves entangled in the urban tapestry of the City of Mist. These characters bring a recognizable element to the new narratives.
