You can now use the code WCS2024 to get a Platinum Gengar Boost Emblem in Pokémon UNITE until August 19 at 00:00 UTC to celebrate the 2024 Pokémon World Championships

The Pokémon Company has revealed more details about the 2024 Pokémon World Championships. Read on below to learn more:

The Pokémon World Championships will take place in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, but you can catch all the Pokémon TCG, Pokémon video game, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE action from home live on Twitch. Watching matches isn’t the only way to get involved: catch the Worlds Preview Show to hear expert opinions leading up to the competition, build your own Fantasy Team for the opportunity to win prizes, and stay tuned to the live stream for special distributions that will net you in-game rewards for Pokémon TCG Live and your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game. 

Watching the 2024 Worlds Stream 

You’ve watched the Worlds Preview Show and built out your Fantasy Team—now you’re ready to follow along with all the action. Pokémon TCG, Pokémon video game, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE World Championships matches will stream on August 16 and August 17 from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PDT, with the Pokémon UNITE World Championships Finals beginning on August 17. The World Championships Finals for Pokémon GO, the Pokémon TCG, and Pokémon video games will stream sequentially on August 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. PDT. For the full lowdown, check out the broadcast schedule on the Virtual Experience page. 

Pokémon Distributions and Stream Rewards 

If you tune in to the broadcast or follow along with our social media channels, you can find passwords to obtain a special illustration rare Pecharunt ex in Pokémon TCG Live and 2023 Pokémon Video Game World Champion Tomoya Ogawa’s Sylveon in your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game! You can also look forward to special Twitch Drops for Pokémon GO, Pokémon TCG Live, and Pokémon UNITE as you follow along with all the action.
