NYCC 2021: The 2021 Harvey Award Nominations Have Been Announced

The Harvey Awards

The 2021 Harvey Awards were held virtually during New York Comic Con this past weekend. The awards featured six categories: Book of the Year, Digital Book of the Year, Best Children or Young Adult Book, Best Adaptation from Comic Book/Graphic Novel, Best Manga, and Best International Book.

Professionals in the comics community were eligible to vote as well as creators and industry professionals who were approved for professional or Artists Alley badges at a ReedPop convention between 2016 and 2021 were automatically eligible as well.

Below are all of the nominees with the winners in bold. Congrats to everyone.

Book of the Year

Earlier in the week, the Harvey Awards announced this year’s inductees into the Harvey Awards Hall of Fame. This year’s Hall of Fame Class are Bernie WrightsonWilliam KalutaBarry Windsor-SmithRumiko Takahashi, and Jeffrey Catherine Jones.
