Final Days to Join the Kickstarter Campaign for “Iz’Areth,” a New Pathfinder Campaign Setting

With just three days remaining in its Kickstarter campaign, “Iz’Areth” by Fireball in a Teacup Press is close to turning a dream into reality. The campaign has already surpassed its initial goal of $5,000, with a current pledge total of $5,138 from 44 backers. This new realm in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game universe is scheduled to conclude its funding phase on June 14.

“Iz’Areth” offers a journey into a world of rebirth and radiant mysteries. Set after a long period of darkness, this realm shines under the brilliance of the sun, heralding a resurgence of civilization empowered by Luminous Shards. These gems infuse the world with radiant energy, fueling inventions ranging from towering airships to autonomous carts.

The campaign setting was created by Kori Speece, who has been playing tabletop games for over 20 years, while also working on creating and enriching the world of Iz’Areth. The goal of the Kickstarter campaign is to fund the creation of a high-quality book, complete with numerous illustrations—none of which will be AI-generated—to enhance the visual experience of the game.

This project is not just a book but a visual journey. The campaign aims to include at least 59 images, ensuring no AI-generated artwork, to create a genuine artistic treasure for tabletop gamers. The funds raised will predominantly cover artist fees and production costs for a high-quality physical book, affirming Speece’s commitment to offering a premium gaming experience.

For those interested in exploring this new world, the “Iz’Areth” campaign setting offers a narrative filled with mystery and technological marvels. Potential backers can visit the Kickstarter page to learn more about the project and contribute before the campaign concludes.
