EN Publishing is set to launch a Kickstarter campaign for “The Voidrunner’s Codex,” a new expansion for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (D&D 5E) and Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition (A5E), introducing players to space exploration and combat.
The boxed set includes three books: the core “Voidrunner’s Codex,” the “Star Captain’s Manual,” and the introductory adventure “Escape from Death Planet.” Each book offers a unique aspect of space adventure, from character customization with new classes and equipment designed for interstellar travel to managing and battling with starships.
The “Voidrunner’s Codex” itself provides extensive options for character development with new origins, classes, and psionic powers tailored for cosmic adventures. It introduces equipment suited for space, including advanced weapons and cybernetic enhancements.
“The Star Captain’s Manual” delves into the mechanics of starship operation, space exploration, and combat, allowing players to design and pilot their starships through uncharted territories and engage in tactical battles.
“Escape from Death Planet” offers a gripping adventure where players must escape a doomed planet. It serves as a compelling introduction to space-themed campaigns, blending traditional RPG elements with new, high-stakes challenges.
Alongside the books, the set includes tokens, maps, a Narrator’s screen, and more, all presented in a beautiful slipcase. Digital rewards from the Kickstarter are set to be distributed immediately after the campaign’s conclusion in July 2024, with printed materials expected to ship by February 2025.
