The newly launched trading card game “Oshi Push!” has quickly exceeded its Kickstarter funding goal, securing over $109,000 against an initial target of $50,000. The campaign, which continues until June 5, has attracted significant interest from backers.
Developed through a collaboration between Japanime Games, VTuber agency Phase Connect, and game designer Justin Gary of Stoneblade Entertainment, “Oshi Push!” introduces a card game centered around the virtual world of VTubers. Players aim to increase their subscriber count by using a combination of Content, Action, and Upgrade cards to enhance their influence across various digital platforms.
“Oshi Push!” offers several gameplay modes including traditional 1v1, a Battle Royale for 3-4 players, and Team Battles for four players in “Collab Mode.” This variety allows for flexibility in how the game is played, catering to different group sizes and gaming preferences.
Players customize their decks based on their chosen VTuber Persona, selecting cards that match the Persona’s color and genre. Each player aims to be the first to reach one million subscribers to win the game.
Additionally, the game caters to collectors with its offering of rare cards, some of which are hand-signed by the VTubers featured in the game. These special editions are limited, with only 70 such cards being available, adding a unique collectible aspect to the game.
The full set includes 160 mechanically unique cards, and each starter deck comes with three distinct cards.
