Bellsprout Community Day Ticket now available to purchase for April Pokémon GO Community Day

Niantic has announced a new event for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:

Catch the Flower Pokémon, make the most of event bonuses, and more.

“Petal” on over to Pokémon GO to celebrate Bellsprout’s moment in the sun during April Community Day, April 20, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m local time. During this event, the Grass- and Poison-type Pokémon first discovered in Kanto will appear more frequently in the wild—and lucky Trainers might just encounter a Shiny one! Catch an entire bouquet of Bellsprout to make the most of event bonuses including:

  • 3× XP for catching Pokémon
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
  • 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours
  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours
  • One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day

During the event and up to five hours after it concludes, you can evolve Weepinbell—Bellsprout’s Evolution—into a Victreebel that knows the Fast Attack Magical Leaf. You’ll also be able to branch out with a ticket for the Bellsprout Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, available in the in-game shop for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers can even give the gift of research by purchasing a ticket for a friend who they have a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Event-themed Field Research tasks will also be available—catch Bellsprout to earn rewards including Stardust, Great Balls, additional encounters with the Flower Pokémon, and more.

Make the most of the Community Day fun with four-star Raid Battles featuring Weepinbell from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. After a successful raid, more Bellsprout will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these four-star raids—they can only be joined with Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes.

Don’t forget to take time to stop and smell the Bellsprout with this month’s Community Day, Trainers!
