Fantasy Flight Games announced From the Abyss, a new expansion for Unfathomable, which will hit retail on June 7, 2024.
This new expansion for the miniatures board game Unfathomable features expanded content as well as new mechanics for the game. Players will take off on the journey to Boston on the SS Atlantic, and will encounter some of the horrors from the deep: the Shoggoth, the Drowned Spirit, and a Grasping Tendril. These monsters assail the ship while the players try to rescue passengers. The expansion also comes with brand-new boon cards, and offers players new skills and items to help them survive the supernatural onslaught.
The expansion, with the core game (see “‘Unfathomable’“), supports two to four players and plays in 2 to 3 hours. It will retail for $59.99.
