A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 58)
A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 58)
Greetings, Trainers.
We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll tell you about new features from the update at the end of February.
App Update for Late February
As we mentioned in our last message, the Profile feature will get revamped, allowing you to display a Photo that you’ve made, as well as a Title and Hashtag!
In this message, we’d like to tell you about the major changes that are being made.
You Can Display Photos That You Created!
The Photo Creator feature allows you to create your very own Photos with your favorite Trainers to display on your Profile!
With the Photo Creator, you can choose up to three Trainers you’ve teamed up with and adjust their poses, expressions, and position as you photograph them.
You can customize your Photo in a variety of ways, such as by changing the Background or Frame. You can also make it sepia-toned or add effects like burning flames and twinkling stars. Whether you want to make a touching scene that tells a story, or a snapshot that just makes you laugh, we hope you experiment by making all kinds of different Photos!
Create a Photo just the way you want and show it off to other players!
Also in this update, you’ll be able to search for other players by various criteria, such as the Trainer in their Photo.
We hope you try to find out how other players take Photos of your favorite Trainers.
Titles and Hashtags Added!
The Title feature will be added! As with Medals, you can obtain Titles by meeting certain conditions.
Titles can be displayed at the top of your Profile. Some can be earned based on your Player Rank or number of days logged in, while you’ll get others by fighting lots of battles with specific Sync Pairs on your Team. We hope you use the Title that you like!
There are also Secret Titles. The conditions to obtain these are hidden, so we encourage you to try to find out how to get them.
Also, you’ll be able to add a Hashtag to your Profile.
Unlike Titles, you’ll pick Hashtags from a prepared list of tags, so choose one you like and use it to introduce yourself!
Like Feature Added!
You’ll be able to send a Like to other players’ Profiles!
If you enjoy the Photo that another player has displayed, are intrigued by their Profile, or played with them in a co-op battle, we hope you’ll send them a Like.
There will also be Missions to commemorate the Profile update, so we hope you check out the new features.
We’d also like to tell you about battle-related updates.
Lucky Skill Stock Feature
You’ll be able to stock two Lucky Skills in addition to the one you have equipped!
You can swap in a stocked Lucky Skill for the one you have equipped as many times as you want, so choose which ones to swap based on your opponent to gain an edge in battle.
Sync Grid Energy Cap Unlocked
You’ll be able to raise the cap on Energy, which is used to activate Sync Grid tiles!
Based on a Sync Pair’s move level, you can raise the Energy cap by up to 10!
By doing so, you’ll be able to have more tiles activated than before. This will open up a wide range of new possibilities for your Sync Pairs, so please give it a try.
Unlocking the Energy cap requires Co-op Sync Orbs, so we hope you also check out the “Monthly gems (limit 10) + co-op sync orb present” offer.
What to Expect in the Next Message
Pokémon Masters EX will soon reach its four-and-a-half-year mark since launch.
New Sync Pairs that will debut during the 4.5 Year Celebration will be revealed in the Pokémon Presents scheduled for February 27, 2024 at 6:00 a.m., so we hope you look forward to it.
Also, we’ll share information about Sync Pairs and events in our message coming after the Pokémon Presents.
We’re always working hard to deliver updates and improvements that make the world of Pokémon Masters EX as fun as possible.
We prioritize Trainers’ feedback throughout the development process, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you think.
Until next time, thank you for playing Pokémon Masters EX.
