For this edition of FanArt Friday, Pokémon Blog is delighted to display the art of the tremendously talented Bee, also known as moonlit.bee. This polyglot was previously featured in the special edition of FanArt Friday titled “Winter Wonderland.”
Art has been a constant part of our artist’s life since she has a memory.
“It helps me to calm down and escape reality for a while. Since I mostly draw during my evenings (and sometimes late into the night). It’s something I can always look forward to,” she revealed.
“The constant improvement of one’s skills is so rewarding, and it never gets boring. I still prefer watercolors, but I definitely want to try digital art one day. Being able to express my interests and emotions through colors and sharing my work, especially with people online, created a safe space I’m grateful for,” she explained.
“Back during my elementary school days, I always hurried back home to watch the anime on TV. (I remember that ) I bought the newest set of cards at the store down the street. And I collected so many plushies (I still do),” she shared. “The Pokémon and the characters in the games and the Anime hold a very special place in my heart, and I don’t think I will ever stop liking the Franchise.“
“I can draw my favorite Pokémon in different settings I’d like to see them live in. There are so many to choose from. Therefore, I will never run out of ideas! But the Pokémon community is what makes it perfect. I get so much support (from it) and positive reactions (about my work). Also, I have made so many friends along the way. It’s like a big family.“
Choosing her favorite Pokémon is tough for Bee, but “Slowpoke and Flygon are having a battle for the top of the list.”
