The Pokémon Company has revealed its plans for this year’s Pokémon Day, and there’s sure to be something exciting for all types of fans out there!
Participating game stores will have special promos and prize giveaways to commemorate the big day.
Get into the competitive spirit to celebrate Pokémon Day by taking part in Play! Pokémon events at your local game store. On Pokémon Day (that’s February 27, 2024, of course), participating stores will be hosting events that can encompass the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon video games, and Pokémon GO. Some locations may also be holding Learn to Play sessions, so beginner players can take part in the fun too.
Your store may also have special promo items, like Pokémon coins and damage-counter dice, as well as prize giveaways that can include Pokémon TCG products, a figure from the Pikachu Moods collection, and Pokémon GO at League codes, which can be redeemed for in-game items. Prizes may vary by region.
Event times and details will vary depending on the participating store. Our Event Locator will help you find event locations, and you can contact stores for more details. Enjoy spending Pokémon Day socializing (and battling!) with other Pokémon fans, Trainers!
