Everything you need to know about the new sync pair of Sygna Suit Piers & Low Key Form Toxtricity in Pokémon Masters EX

DeNA is continuing to add more events and new features to Pokémon Masters EX on a regular basis. Read on below to learn more:

Vibe to this sync pair’s reverberating Sorrowful Echoes Overdrive buddy move.

Piers, Roxie, and Ryuki rock Pasio with a public jam session, their music amping up the gathered fans. But that passion turns into a small argument when Oleana, Volkner, and Flint debate which of the three singers is the best. To quiet the squabbling, the power trio decide to host a Special Concert Battle, a musical showdown to determine which of them is number one. Find out how it all plays out in Pokémon Masters EX’s newest story event, Who’s the Best Singer?

Piers is as hardcore a rocker as anybody, but he tends to carefully choose his moments rather than hog the spotlight, making Low Key Form Toxtricity his perfect accompaniment. Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity are an Electric-type strike sync pair that can create both a Poison Zone and Electric Terrain to get the most out of their buddy move, Sorrowful Echoes Overdrive. This Electric-type move can only be used when weather, terrain, or zone effects are active. The amount of move gauge slots needed to use this move drops by two when a Poison Zone is in play, and its power increases by 20 percent when the target is affected by a status condition.

Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity’s Low-Key Melancholy passive skill creates Electric Terrain the first time they successfully attack in battle and extends the duration of any Electric Terrain created while they are on the field. They can also turn the field of play into a Poison Zone, raise their Sp. Atk by two stat ranks, and boost their critical-hit rate by three stat ranks with their Trainer move, The Show Begins!

For more details on this sync pair’s passive skills and moves, check out Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity’s in-game sync pair scout screen. Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity are available to scout until November 19, 2023, at 9:59 p.m. PST. Fellow rock star sync pair Sygna Suit Roxie & Toxtricity are also available to scout until November 19, 2023, at 9:59 p.m. PST.

  • Sygna Suit Roxie & Toxtricity
These two sync pairs may musically compete in the latest story event, but their moves and passive skills work together in perfect harmony. Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity’s Low-Key Melancholy immediately turns the field of play into Electric Terrain at the start of a battle, which triggers the damage increase for Roxie & Toxtricity’s Frenzied Sludge Wave.

Meanwhile, Sygna Suit Roxie & Toxtricity’s Amped and Vibed passive skill turns the field of play into a Poison Zone, reducing the amount of move gauge slots needed to use Sorrowful Echoes Overdrive. Both sync pairs can still use additional support when it comes to fully raising their Sp. Atk, but combining their passive skills to get the most out of both their buddy moves makes for a radical performance. Sygna Suit Roxie & Toxtricity are available to scout from the Sygna Suit Roxie Poké Fair Scout until November 19, 2023, at 9:59 p.m. PST.

  • Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom
Two uses of Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity’s The Show Begins! raises their Sp. Atk by four stat ranks and their critical-hit rate by three stat ranks, but that still leaves the pair two stat ranks away from a fully maxed out Sp. Atk. In some situations, it may be best to preserve one use of The Show Begins! to maximize the amount of turns that a Poison Zone is in play.

Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom can galvanize this laid-back sync pair with X Sp. Atk All, which raises the Sp. Atk of all allied sync pairs by two stat ranks. Two uses of X Sp. Atk All and a single use of The Show Begins! allows Sygna Suit Piers & Toxtricity to deal maximum damage without sacrificing precious Poison Zone time. Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and the 5★-Guaranteed Unova Ticket Scout.

Let the music play, Trainers!
