New Pokémon HOME update version 3.1.0 now available on Nintendo Switch to add compatibility with The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 1: The Teal Mask DLC, fix the issue where the effects of items that change a Pokemon’s Ability were not reflected in other software and more

Pokémon HOME is a special app that enables Trainers to continue their Pokémon adventures beyond a single game system and manage their collection of Pokémon across many of their games. Pokémon HOME is available now on Nintendo Switch, iPhone and iPad (App Store), and Android (Google Play) devices. A new Pokémon HOME update is available now:

In this article, you’ll learn how to update Pokémon HOME.
Note
  • This update must be applied in order to use the application’s Internet features.
  • Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.
  • If the system is connected to the Internet, the update will download and install automatically.
On September 12, 2023, a new software update for Pokémon HOME became available for download. Please take a moment to download and install this update while your Nintendo Switch console is connected to the Internet.

Complete these steps

  1. Connect the Nintendo Switch console to the Internet.
  2. Return to the HOME Menu and launch the application.
  3. The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
  4. Once the update is installed, the newest version number will be displayed on the title screen.

  • Added compatibility with The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero – Part 1: The Teal Mask DLC for the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
