From New York Times and multi-Eisner Award-winning best-selling author James Tynion IV and Tate Brombal
The hit genre-bending horror series, The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos, hits the bookstores in 2024 with a new paperback collection! Based on an idea by James Tynion IV, Christopher Chaos was written by Tate Brombal, illustrated by Isaac Goodhart, colored by Miquel Muerto, and lettered by Aditya Bidikar. This first volume will collect issues #1-6 of the horror/science fiction/coming-of-age/LGBTQ-positive series, and will include a cover gallery including work from artists like Phil Jimenez, Nick Robles, Fábio Moon, and others, alongside a sketchbook section.
In Volume 1, meet teenage mad scientist Christopher Chaos. For all his life he knew he was different. His brilliant mind works in ways that defy logic and enable him to do things that push him beyond his peers. Unfortunately, these abilities have also caused great pain in his personal life—leading others to fear him and leaving Christopher with profound loneliness and guilt.
Then one day something cracked. When the cute boy at high school turns out to be a deadly creature, Christopher finds himself pitted in a world of monsters, heroes, and a cult of hunters out to kill them all.
The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos Volume 1 TPB will be available in bookstores May 21, 2024 and in comic shops May 22, 2024. It is now available to pre-order for $24.99 at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and your local comic shop and bookstore .

Praise for The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos #1:
“The first issue is a perfect setup for a horror comic that struggles with the loneliness of feeling like an outsider.”—Fangoria
“Full of detail, life, death and at times, whimsy. It’s a book about growing up, taking chances, love, loss, mortality, and morality”—The Convention Collective
“Simply put, this is the type of book that will remind you why you check out new monthly comics. The idea is clever and odd, the execution equally so, and the visuals fantastic, with clean and polished linework complimented perfectly by the letters and colors.”—Comics Beat
“The Oddly Pedestrian Life of Christopher Chaos #1 stands tall as an engaging opening to a story rife with whimsy and charm. It contains enough narrative richness within its moments of open table setting to act as both an excellent standalone tale, as well as the first chapter in an expectedly great series.”—Comic Watch
“The weird mixture of horror, science fiction, and coming-of-age drama somehow works together beautifully. The horror elements are genuinely scary, the science fiction elements are interesting and thought-provoking, and the coming-of-age drama is touching and relatable.”—Capes & Tights
