Image Comics and Solis Game Studio have partnered to produce the Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game, using Solis’ Pocket Paragon game system. The game is scheduled to launch next summer following a Kickstarter campaign later this year.
Pocket Paragon is a fast-paced and portable card game that allows players to engage in head-to-head battles between characters. The Massive-Verse Fighting Card Game will draw on the characters and themes from Image Comic’s Massive-Verse setting, while being fully compatible with existing Pocket Paragon decks. The game system already includes characters from Rivals of Aether, Aegis, and Penny Arcade’s Acquisitions Inc.
The Massive-Verse decks will include the hero characters Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, Inferno Girl Red, and The Dead Lucky along with the villains Cataclysm, The Griffin, and Pyre. The game is designed so any characters can face off, including hero vs. hero and villain vs. villain match-ups.
The game will feature box art and character cards with artwork by Dan Mora (Power Rangers, Batman, Superman). The ability cards will have artwork drawn from the characters’ comic book appearances.
