Surge into battle with Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu! This Ula’ula Island Trial Captain has donned a new outfit and partnered with the Legendary Pokémon Tapu Bulu—but this guardian deity isn’t the same one that watches over Ula’ula Island.
Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu are a Grass-type support sync pair that turns the field of play into Grassy Terrain the first time they enter battle. When weather, terrain, or zone effects are activated, they can use B Swords Dance to raise all allies’ Attack by two stat ranks and increase everyone’s Physical Moves ↑ Next effect by one rank. Between Grassy Terrain and Sunny Day, Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu have the green thumb Grass-type sync pairs need to flourish.
Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu are available to scout until June 1, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. PDT. Having also made their debut during the Alola villain arc, Sygna Suit Hau & Tapu Koko and Sygna Suit Mina & Tapu Fini are available to scout until June 1, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.

Grass-type Pokémon and their Trainers tend to love the sun, and Sygna Suit Erika & Leafeon thrive when paired with Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu. Whenever Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu make the weather sunny with Sunny Day, Sygna Suit Erika & Leafeon don’t need to wait a turn to use their powerful Solar Blade—they can use it immediately. This move’s power is also enhanced by the Grassy Terrain that Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu set at the start of the battle with their passive skill, Grassy Terrain Debut & Extension 5. On top of that, Sygna Suit Erika & Leafeon’s Solar Blade does physical damage, which is directly enhanced by Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu’s B Swords Dance. Sygna Suit Erika & Leafeon are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Kanto Ticket Scout.
Grass-type Pokémon and Fire-type Pokémon are often seen as opposites, but they can work well together, as exemplified by Silver & Ho-Oh and Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu. Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu can raise Silver & Ho-Oh’s Attack with B Swords Dance and increase the power of Silver & Ho-Oh’s Solar Beam with their Grassy Terrain Debut & Extension 5 passive skill. Silver & Ho-Oh also have the Solarize passive skill, which makes the weather sunny each time they use their sync move, Power-Hungry Sacred Fire. That then triggers Sygna Suit Acerola & Tapu Bulu’s Ula’ula Ocean Breeze, increasing all allies’ Physical Moves ↑ Next by one stat rank! The two together are the perfect combination to do big damage during extended battles. Silver & Ho-Oh can be acquired after completing Pure Hearts and Rainbow Wings in the Legendary Adventures section of the main story.
