Magic: The Gathering players around the world are excitedly counting down the days until August 4, 2023, when the highly anticipated Commander Masters set finally arrives. This set, the first Masters set tied specifically to the Commander format, promises to be a must-have for collectors and players alike, with a range of powerful and beautiful cards to add to any deck.
Wizards of the Coast, the game’s creator, recently unveiled some of the cards that will be included in the set, such as Jeweled Lotus, The Ur-Dragon, and Capture of Jingzhou. The set will also feature four preconstructed decks, each with ten new Magic cards, including brand-new commanders. The decks are called Eldrazi Unbound (colorless), Enduring Enchantments (white-black-green), Planeswalker Party (white-blue-red), and Sliver Swarm (white-blue-black-red-green).
In addition to the preconstructed decks, players will also be able to purchase Set Boosters, Draft Boosters, and Collector Boosters. The Commander Masters set symbol and logo have also been revealed, adding to the anticipation and excitement of the upcoming release.
Players can preorder the Commander Masters set online at Amazon or at their local game store. The first look at the set will be revealed on May 16, 2023, while WPN Premium Store Preview Events are scheduled for July 28-30, 2023. Finally, the Commander Masters set will be available for tabletop play on August 4, 2023.
