Two New Sourcebooks for SLA Industries RPG Up On Kickstarter

August 25, 2021 by Polar_Bear

Relaunched just last year, Nightfall Games is looking to expand the offerings available for SLA Industries. They’re doing this by bringing you not just one, but two new sourcebooks as part of their new Kickstarter campaign. If you’re looking for a horror/sci-fi/noir game to get involved in, this might just be the one for you.

From the campaign:

The ENnie award winning SLA Industries (pronounced “Slay Industries”) is a horror noir science-fiction setting set in a dystopian reality in which the majority of the known universe is either owned or indirectly controlled by the eponymous corporation SLA Industries. The game incorporates themes from the cyberpunk, gothic horror and conspiracy genres, and has always been praised on the quality of writing and art. SLA Industries is considered one of the first and best examples of the Splatterpunk genre in RPGs.

Threat Analysis 1: Collateral is 192+ lavishly illustrated pages of horrifying threats and supportive allies for SLA Industries: 2nd Edition. This tome will contain dozens of threats for the Operatives to deal with, familiar and new, all with easy-to-read stat blocks, updated for the S5S rules, and descriptive art and text to the standard you’ve become accustomed to from Nightfall Games. In addition to these challenges, you will get chapters about numerous gangs of Downtown, deadly Serial Killers, terrifying Manchines and creepy Dream Entities.

If the stretch goals are met, the SLA Industries Aethernaut character class, fresh from Naga 7’s exploration wing, will join in on the action.

Species Guide 1: Shaktar/Wraithen is 80 pages of content about the two best-known alien species that work as Operatives for SLA Industries. With species-specific skills, weapons and hardware, your favourite alien has more options than ever, and with plenty of art and all the information you could want about their home worlds, cultures and histories, the first species guide is an essential book for Operatives and GMs alike.

The campaign’s making its way to 3x funded with 22 days left to go.
