The film has now grossed $253.7 million after two weeks. The film doubled its international gross over the week bringing in around $301.2 million. It has now earned $601.7 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $881.4 million after two weekends. Will it cross $1 billion before the end of the year? There’s a chance!
In second place was Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. The film grossed $11.4 million and has earned $24.7 million domestically. Internationally, the film has grossed $32.5 million. Worldwide, the movies has grossed $57.2 million.
Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody opened in third place with an estimated $5.3 million and has so far grossed $7.5 million domestically. Internationally, the film has also grossed $2.6 million. Worldwide, the film stands at $10.1 million.
Babylon opened in third place with $3.5 million. Domestically, the film has grossed $5.4 million in total. No international numbers have been returned.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever wrapped up the top five after being in second place the previous weekend. The film grossed an estimated $3 million. Domestically, the film has earned $427.4 million. Internationally, the film grossed about $6.3 million over the week to now stand at $373.8 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $801.2 million.
In comic film news…
Black Adam debuted digitally on HBO and still grossed an estimated $200,000 to bring its domestic total up to just under $167.9 million. Over the week, the film added about $100,000 internationally to bring that to $222.4 million. Worldwide, the film has grossed $391.3 million.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time added about $15,400 over the week. Domestically, it has grossed $810,744. Internationally, the film has already grossed $92.9 million for a worldwide gross of $93.7 million.

Numbers have 16 films earning $83,749,562 from 24,612 theaters. That’s about a 50% drop from last weekend’s $152,858,819 from 25,556 theaters and 45 films. The average earning was $3,402.79 this past weekend, a about a 33% drop from last weekend’s $5,981.33.
