Delibird will appear more frequently in Tera Raid Battles until Sunday, December 25, at 3:59 p.m. PST. These Delibird will have various Tera Types, so prepare wisely before challenging them! Defeating Delibird will yield plenty of rewards, and Delibird appearing in 5-star Tera Raid Battles may even reward you with various Tera Shards—special items that allow you to change the Tera Types of your Pokémon.
For the opportunity to encounter these Pokémon in Tera Raid Battles, you’ll need to have downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. You can do this by connecting your Nintendo Switch system to the internet or by selecting Poké Portal in the X menu, then Mystery Gift, then Get Poké Portal News. After that, whenever you see a sparkling pillar of light shining from a Tera Raid crystal, you can walk up to the crystal and interact with it to start a Tera Raid Battle with a Tera Pokémon.

In a Tera Raid Battle, you’ll work together with three other Trainers to defeat a powerful Tera Pokémon before time runs out. The kinds of Pokémon encountered during Tera Raid Battle events will vary. Pokémon encountered in Tera Raid Battles may have a rare Tera type.

• To encounter Pokémon featured in Tera Raid Battle events, you need to have downloaded the latest Poké Portal News. Poké Portal News will automatically download if your Nintendo Switch™ system is connected to the internet.
