You’ll be able to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna for the first time in Pokémon GO from 2 p.m. on November 12 to 6 a.m. on November 13

Niantic has announced a new event for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:

Pokémon GO offers a beary busy Community Day with event bonuses, a full moon, and four-star raids.

The November 2022 Pokémon GO Community Day will have Trainers over the moon with event bonuses, a new Pokédex entry, and plenty of pawsitively adorable Teddiursa roaming the wild. On November 12, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time, the Normal-type Little Bear Pokémon will appear more frequently. Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny one! And keep your eyes on the skies—a full moon will appear in-game from the start of the event through November 13, 2022, at 6:00 a.m. local time. While the moon is visible, Trainers can use 100 Teddiursa Candy to evolve Ursaring—Teddiursa’s Evolution—into Ursaluna for the first time in Pokémon GO. If you evolve Ursaring during the event or up to five hours afterward, your Ursaluna will know the Ground-type Charged Attack High Horsepower, which is also making its Pokémon GO debut.

This Community Day is going to be un-bear-ably busy with the following bonuses in effect throughout the event.

  • 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon

  • 2× chance for Trainers Level 31+ to receive Candy XL for catching Pokémon

  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon

  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours

  • Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours

  • Trades will require 50% less Stardust (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Community Day)

  • One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day (from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. on Community Day)

If you find yourself feeling peckish, you can indulge in the Community Day Special Research story “A Sweet Snack” by purchasing a ticket in the in-game shop for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Additionally, Trainers can purchase tickets for friends that they’ve reached a friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. To give the gift of research, simply tap the “Gift” button instead of the “Buy” button.

Extend the Community Day fun from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. local time with four-star Raid Battles featuring Ursaring. After a successful Ursaring Raid Battle, Teddiursa will appear in a 300-meter radius around the Gym for 30 minutes. Lucky Trainers may even encounter a Shiny one! These four-star Raids are not accessible via Remote Raid Passes—they can only be accessed with Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes.

We’re excited to announce that Teddiursa, the Little Bear Pokémon, will be featured during November Community Day!

And hang on–is that a full moon during the day? Ursaluna, the Peat Pokémon, will make its Pokémon GO debut during this event! Evolve Ursaring (Teddiursa’s Evolution) during a special full moon to get an Ursaluna of your own.

From Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. to Sunday, November 13, 2022, at 6:00 a.m. local time, a full moon will appear in the Pokémon GO skies!

While the full moon is visible, you’ll be able to evolve your Ursaring into Ursaluna. Once the moon sets, you will only be able to evolve your Ursaring to Ursaluna when the moon is full again.

*You can use 100 Teddiursa Candy to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna.

  • For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Teddiursa Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, A Sweet Snack.
  • Stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research story go live.
  • Don’t forget: you’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.* To gift a ticket, tap the Special Research ticket in the in-game shop, then tap the Gift button instead of the Buy button.

Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.

Event Bonuses

Bonus Raid Battles after Community Day

Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time

After the three-hour Community Day event ends, Trainers will be able to take on special four-star Raid Battles. Claiming victory in one of these raids will cause more Teddiursa to appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes!

You can only join these raids using Raid Passes and Premium Battle Passes. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used to join these raids.

Bonus for completing four-star Raid Battles

Once you successfully complete a four-star Raid Battle against Ursaring, Teddiursa will appear in a 300-meter radius around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. If you’re lucky, you may encounter a Shiny one!*

*Teddiursa that appear under these circumstances will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that appear during November Community Day’s three-hour event period.

Stickers

You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
