It’s like if Absolutely Fabulous also including cauldrons, riding brooms, and spellcasting. CovenAunts is a new RPG up on Kickstarter now that’s all about being the cool aunt that’s in a coven.

Affirmations under the moon, difficult siblings causing you headaches, something scrumptious bubbling away in the cauldron: this is the life of a CovenAunt. Wiling away the hours after dark, crafting spells and brewing potions, you’re the one with all the answers, the solutions and the attitude. You never asked for all this responsibility but, as long as you and your friends are all in it together, it’s a pretty wicked way to be.
CovenAunts is a quick and easy 2d6 system for playing out the fun and frivolity of being an aunt who is also a witch. Get together with your coven and crack open a bottle of wine, put the world to rights and work out what on earth you’re going to do about your respective families.
The game comes in two forms: the one page Quickplay and the full Game book. The Quickplay edition is ideal for just spending an evening getting silly with your witchy Auntsonas. For those looking for a longer experience, spanning the ups and downs of multiple sessions or even a whole campaign, the Game book gives you all the tools and inspiration that you need to do just that!
Alongside the rules, we’re also putting together five adventures that you can play through with your friends right out of the box. Whether you’re running a one shot or looking for your next campaign, we’ve got you covered.
The campaign’s well far and away above its funding goal (being fair, they wanted extremely little) with 20 days left to go.
