The Baltimore Comic-Con and the Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore are proud to present the inaugural 2022 Cosplay Showcase. The showcase will provide cosplayers with an outlet to have their costume seen by the convention in a non-competition environment. This event, sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe Baltimore, the internationally-recognized pop cultural brand and destination, will allow cosplayers of all ages and skill levels to strut their stuff on the runway and show why they love cosplay so much!
Sign-ups for the inaugural Showcase will run from show opening on Friday, October 28th to 2:30pm on Saturday, October 29th. The Showcase kicks off on Saturday, October 29th at 3:30pm and Sunday, October 30th at 2pm, both leading into the Adults and Kids Costume Craftsmanship Contests respectively, and all entrants must be in the line-up room 30 minutes prior to start.
This year’s inaugural event is being led by Harry Crosland, who will be joined by Ni’esha Wongus, Kelly Johnson, Wendell Smith, and Corey Morgan in staging the event, and all of whom helped to put this event together.
Costume Craftsmanship Contest/Cosplay Showcase Schedule:
October 29th
- 12:30pm – Adult Contest Registrants to Judging Room
- 3:00pm – Showcase Registrants to Staging Room
- 3:30pm – Cosplay Showcase
- 4:00pm – Adult Craftsmanship Contest (4th Floor Ballroom)
October 30th
- 12:30pm – Kids Contest Registrants to Judging Room
- 1:30pm – Showcase Registrants to Staging Room
- 2:00pm – Cosplay Showcase
- 2:30pm – Kids Craftsmanship Contest
To ensure your spot in the Cosplay Showcase, individuals are encouraged to register as soon as you are able. While you will be able to complete your registration on-site at the Costume Craftsmanship Contest Booth located in the lobby at the entrance to the show floor, early Online Registration is now available.
