For those who want to start reading comics from the beginning, Marvel is collecting four firsts in Origins of Marvel Comics: Marvel Tales #1. The issue includes Fantastic Four #1, X-Men #1, and Avengers #1, all by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and Amazing Stories #15, the first appearance of Spider-Man, by Lee and Steve Ditko. The 104-page collection will have a cover by Nick Bradshaw (with a virgin variant also available), a variant by Peach Momoko, and a cat variant by Chrissie Zullo. Origins of Marvel Comics: Marvel Tales #1 is rated for all ages, and the 104-page issue will go on sale on December 14, 2022, with an MSRP of $7.99.
Marvel also recently announced Avengers Two: Wonder Man and Beast – Marvel Tales #1 (see “Marvel Brings Back the Bromance”).
