Champion League Online Competition now underway in Pokémon Sword and Shield until September 25 at 4:59 p.m. PDT, teams can only consist of Pokémon used by past Champions from the Pokémon video game series

The Champion League Online Competition has been announced for Pokémon Sword and Shield. Read on below to learn more:

Have a champion time with Pokémon used by Pokémon League Champions throughout the years.

Prepare to take on Pokémon Trainers from around the world in the Champion League Online Competition. You can register now to take part in these thrilling Single Battles—just remember that your team can only consist of Pokémon used by past Champions from the Pokémon video game series!

Only Pokémon obtained in the Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond, Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Sword, or Pokémon Shield games or those with the battle-ready symbol are eligible. Qualifying players who participate in at least one battle during the event will receive 50 BP whether they win or lose.

Eligible Pokémon for the Champion League Online Competition include:

Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Sandslash, Ninetales, Arcanine, Alakazam, Tentacruel, Magneton, Cloyster, Exeggutor, Rhydon, Gyarados, Lapras, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Aerodactyl, Dragonite, Heracross, Skarmory, Tyranitar, Ludicolo, Aggron, Wailord, Altaria, Whiscash, Claydol, Cradily, Armaldo, Milotic, Salamence, Metagross, Roserade, Gastrodon, Spiritomb, Garchomp, Lucario, Rhyperior, Togekiss, Seismitoad, Archeops, Vanilluxe, Escavalier, Haxorus, Accelgor, Druddigon, Bouffalant, Hydreigon, Volcarona, Aegislash, Tyrantrum, Aurorus, Hawlucha, Carbink, Goodra, Gourgeist, Rillaboom, Cinderace, Inteleon, Mr. Rime, and Dragapult.

You can register from now until September 22, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT. To register for the competition, follow these steps:

  1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield
  2. Open the X menu.
  3. Select VS.
  4. Select Battle Stadium.
  5. Select Online Competitions.
  6. Select Search Official Competitions.

The competition takes place from September 22, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. to September 25, 2022, at 4:59 p.m. PDT, so don’t forget to return during that time to play your matches. To receive your participation gift after the competition is over, follow these steps:

  1. Launch your Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield
  2. Open the X menu.
  3. Select Mystery Gift.
  4. Select Get a Mystery Gift.
  5. Select Get Battle Stadium Rewards.
