Miniatures Continue to Get Bigger

Although miniatures have already been on a two-year COVID-fueled roll, Spring 2022 saw continued growth, driven by the rapidly expanding universe of roleplaying game players, and increasing in-store miniature games play.

Warhammer 40,000 remains the big dog in miniatures, despite Games Workshop’s inability to meet demand for its products.

Dungeons & Dragons was the other big driver of miniatures sales, with WizKids D&D minis and Reaper Miniature’s Bones both making the top five miniatures lines for Spring.
