As a newer maker of six inch scaled, super-articulated action figures, Jada is on my SDCC radar. The booth had pretty much what they said they would bring, but it was interesting to see it all in person including some Universal Monsters, Street Fighters and Robot Masters.
The Mega Man figures looked to me to be a bit smaller than the six inch figures, but are packed with the requisite articulation.
An interesting aspect of Chester Cheetah is that it looked as though he has wire wiskers.
The Universal Monsters continues the style of figures from their first wave and look like a ton of fun to mix into six inch collections. They feel like modern Remco figures to me in a way. I also like this Lugosi face a little better than the one they showed in preview photos, but that face paint could use some work.
The Street Fighter figures looked pretty cool in person and fee like they’d fit into a legends display well. The character style did call to mine a specific artist that I’ve seen. At any rate, I’m super happy to see a new Fei Long figure in this scale. He was always my favorite in SSF2.
