Raid Hour event featuring Mega Latias and Shiny Mega Latias available in Pokémon GO today, May 4, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time

May Community Day

Join us for Community Day on Saturday, May 21, 2022! Alolan Geodude, the Rock Pokémon, will appear in the wild!

  • A Mega Moment: Mega Evolution is getting a mega update! Pokémon that can Mega Evolve in Pokémon GO are going to appear more frequently in the wild until Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time! A Mega Kangaskhan Raid Day will also be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. local time.

  • Pokémon Air Adventures: Set your sights on the sky! The first Legendary Pokémon that can Mega Evolve in Pokémon GO—Mega Latias and Mega Latios—will be featured from Tuesday, May 3, 2022, to Sunday, May 8, 2022!

  • Water Festival: Look out for a surge of Water-type Pokémon from Thursday, May 12, 2022, to Friday, May 20, 2022.

  • Alola to Alola: From Wednesday, May 25, 2022, to Tuesday, May 31, 2022, celebrate and look back at all the adventures Trainers have had this year with Pokémon found in Alola!

The following Pokémon will be appearing in raids throughout May.

The guardian deity of Poni Island, the Legendary Pokémon Tapu Fini, will make its Pokémon GO debut in five-star raids this May. At the end of the month, the guardian deities of the four islands of the Alola region will gather together—make sure to catch them all while you have the chance!

Every Wednesday in May, a Raid Hour event will occur from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. The following Pokémon will be featured.

Pokémon Spotlight Hours

In the month of May, Pokémon Spotlight Hour will take place every Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time, and each event will spotlight a different Pokémon and a special bonus!

Hats featured during the Season of Heritage will be in the shop!

Avatar items rewarded from the Season of Heritage Timed Research will be available for purchase from the in-game store for Trainers who were not able to obtain them previously.

Buddy widget debut

A new buddy widget will be available in early May!

You will have the option to add a widget to your device’s home screen so you can keep track of your Buddy Pokémon!
