Funko’s U.S. Sales Decline, Overall Sales Increase

Funko’s sales in the U.S. declined even as overall sales grew in a profitable Q3, the company announced with its earnings report.  U.S. sales were down 2.4%, from $155.4 million in Q3 2025 to $151.7 million this year.  CFO Yves Le Pendeven explained in the conference call that one reason sales were down in the U.S. was that shipments delayed by the tariff announcement earlier in 2025 meant that Q3 2025 had some sales that were delayed from Q2, creating tougher comps.

The rest of the world did better, with sales in Europe up 11.5% and other international sales up 12.1%, bringing overall sales up 3.0% for the quarter.   Funko’s sales increase was primarily in the company’s core collectibles category, which was up 4.8%, while Loungefly continued its declines.

The company remains in a tight cash position, with its credit lines maxed out and a need to show profits in order to make its loan payments.  Q2 was also profitable, but it took a $25.4 million tariff refund to bring the net profit to $15.4 million (see “Funko Sales Up, Profitable in Q2“).
