AWA has announced Pickle’s Mommy Is a Murderer, a 56-page one-shot by writer Sarah H. Cho and artist C.P. Smith. The time is 1997, the setting is Portland, OR, and the dramatis personae includes Klarisse, a pet psychic who can communicate with animals; Pickle, a chihuahua who loves her owner but has been sharing some unnerving details about her; and Louis, a retired K9 dog with good instincts and a nose for crime. The mature-rated one-shot will be released on January 20, 2027, with a main cover by Rahzzah and a variant by Keron Grant.
Cho and Smith previously teamed up on AWA’s miniseries Camgirl; Cho is a screenwriter whose credits include The Girl from Plainville (Hulu) and Them (Amazon) as well as the 2023 AWA series Red Light (see “AWA to Publish Erotic Thriller About A.I. Sex Worker”).
