Paverson Games will release Class of ’89, a new tile placement game, into retail on November 20, 2026.
In this retro 80’s game, players take on the role of President of the Yearbook Club who is tasked with capturing the moments that defined the class of 1989. They will recruit staff from all out the different subcultures within the school: brainiacs, muscleheads, mavens, and more. They will then place tiles to score points and use their staff to snap photos. The game utilizes an array of set collection, worker placement, and tile placement mechanics to deliver a strategy game that is reminiscent of movies like The Breakfast Club and shows like Saved by the Bell.
The game is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 25 minutes. It will retail for $60.
Paverson Games has also announced Small Batch: A Distilled Game, a new faster-playing version of its 2023 game Distilled (see “‘Small Batch’“).
