Allplay will release Phantom Ink, a seance-themed word game by Resonym, into retail on November 20, 2026.
This game, originally published in 2021, was recommended by the Spiel des Jahres 2024 jury (see “Nominees Unveiled“). In this game, players take on the roles of Mediums that are competing to decipher secret words provided by the spirits. Players will need to ask questions and interpret the answers, one letter at a time. When a team has enough to deduce word a spirit is communicating to them, they will yell out “Silencio!” before the other team has a chance to guess. They then need to offer up answer to win.
The game is for two to 10 players, ages 11 and up, and plays in 10 to 15 minutes. It will retail for $20.
