Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees: Halloween Special #1

Wednesdays are new comic book day! Each week hundreds of comics are released, and that can be pretty daunting to go over and choose what to buy. That’s where we come in

Each week our contributors choose what they can’t wait to read this week or just sounds interesting. In other words, this is what we’re looking forward to and think you should be taking a look at!

Find think below, and what comics you should be looking out for

Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees: Halloween Special #1 (IDW Publishing) – We love this world and an anthology release from some top notch creators has us excited to get some more before the next volume kicks off.

C.O.R.T.: Children Of The Round Table A Camelot (DC Comics) – If you missed the individual issues, make sure to get this collection. This series was fantastic and great for all ages.

Crowbound #2 (Image Comics) – The first issue was fantastic with great storytelling and art. A mom kicking ass to get her daughter back? We’re down for that.

The Demon #1 (DC Comics) – We’re intrigued to see what this series brings. It’s not a character we’d have expected to be part of whatever big picture DC has going on.

Dinner Date #1 (Ignition Press) – It sounds like a twist on the vampire genre…

Dungeon Crawler Carl Volume 2 (Vault Comics) – The second volume is a hell of a lot of fun. Check out our early review.

Flux House Presents #1 (Oni Press) – Flux House has been an amazing imprint and we’re excited to read this anthology which pairs Matt Kindt with some great artists.

G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider #1 (Skybound) – We’re intrigued to see these two properties brought together.

Jonah Hex And The Shadow Of Death #1 (DC Comics) – We’re always excited to check out a western comic and Jonah Hex tends to be pretty entertaining with previous volumes.

Land Of Never #4 (Mad Cave Studios) – The series has been a horror twist on Peter Pan and we seriously have no idea where it’s going to go.

Midnight Fantastic Four #1, Midnight Spider-Man #1, Midnight X-Men #1 (Marvel) – We’re excited to see what this new horror line has in store for us and if Marvel has another great line of comics on their hands.

Sabrina The Teenage Witch #1 (Oni Press) – Oni’s new line of Archie comics has us intrigued to see what they do with these classic properties.

Something Is Killing The Children #50 (BOOM! Studios) – Fifty issues is impressive so we wanted to highlight this for just making it to this big number.

Superman The Stranger #2 (DC Comics/DC Black Label) – The first issue was fantastic taking Superman back to his roots fighting corrupt politicians, muggers, and bigots.

Supernatural: Dean Winchester #1/Supernatural: Sam Winchester #1 (Dynamite) – The brothers go solo in this pair of comics!
