Kansas City Chief’s great Patrick Mahomes will decorate the cover of Bo Jackson’s Battle Arena: 2026 Update Edition releasing later this month. Four packaging options will be offered into the hobby market: Hobby, Jumbo, Double Mega, and Blaster packs.
The 2026 Update Edition features more heroes and playing options for the radioactive hot dog-powered trading card game launched in 2024 (see “Bo Knows TCGs“). Like the earlier releases in the line, this set will have a variety of collector-oriented features including multiple rarities, numbered parallel cards, 1/1 Superfoils, and Inspired Ink cards with autographs of sports celebrities, with signature cards included in every box of randomized packs.
This set is scheduled to include signatures from Patrick Mahomes, Bo Jackson, Tony Hawk, Tyrese Haliburton, Mike Tyson, Bobby Witt Jr., Calvin Johson, Konnor Griffin, Ric Flair, Ken Griffey Jr., John Daly, Dez Bryant, Frank Thomas, Hakeem Olajuwon, LaDainian Tomlinson, Dennis Rodman, Bruce Buffer, Jon Jones, Sophie Cunningham, and Johnny Manziel.
Mahomes will be highlighted on the cover of each configuration as the in-game persona Merlomes. The cards come packed in 10-card blister packs sold in the following formats: the 6-pack Blaster Box that offers two Blaster Exclusive Headlines Battlefoils per box, the 16-pack Double-Mega Box which features eight possible Retail Exclusive Battlefoils, the 20-pack Hobby Box with 60 Battlefoils per box, and the 50-pack Jumbo Hobby box offering a chance at 1/1 Superfoils.
