Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) has added a grading service tier as well as opened a grading facility in Europe.
PSA opened up a Standard grading service tier on September 14, 2026. The Standard tier costs $59.99, which covers imaging and grading of a card and carries a max insurance value of $1000 for the card. Estimated turnaround time for this service is 90 to 100 business days.
In addition to adding the new tier, PSA changed the names of some of the other tiers: the Regular tier is now called Priority and the Walk-Through tier is now call Premier. They also mentioned that they are still working on reducing their Value tier backlog, which is down to 9.9 million units, so they can return the availability of Value tier services on their site (see “Grading Submission Backlog“).
PSA also opened PSA Europe on September 15, 2026, a new grading facility in Frankfurt, Germany. The new facility is now available to take direct submissions from EU card collectors.
