Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, introducing a standalone tactical RPG adventure set in the Dagdan Empire. The story follows Cai, Dietrich, Theodora and Leda as they compete in the Heroic Games while attempting to prevent the demon god Balor from bringing about an apocalypse. Players can tackle the four heroes’ storylines in any order, with turn-based battles emphasizing positioning, character classes, weapons, magic and special attacks, while Blaze Arts and the Blaze Gauge add a risk-reward mechanic to combat. Between major battles, players can recruit allies, strengthen Blessings, train their characters, build relationships, explore the world map, complete quests, gather resources and take on dungeons. Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is priced at $69.99 and is designed as a new entry for both newcomers and longtime fans of the series.
