Pokémon Champions Version 1.2.0 update adds Regulation Set M-C content and battle features

Pokémon Champions has received its Version 1.2.0 update, which is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. Released Sept. 8, the update adds Pokémon and held items for Regulation Set M-C, makes several battle balance changes and introduces new tools for competitive play. Politoed can no longer use Pound, while Archaludon loses access to Mirror Coat and Metal Burst, Slash has been added as an available move and Wish and Strength Sap have had their PP reduced from 12 to eight. Version 1.2.0 also adds View Log, which records actions taken during a battle, and Selection Support, which displays battle data on the Pokémon selection screen to help players choose their team. Several bugs have also been fixed, and the update is required to access Pokémon Champions’ internet features.

The following updates have been made to the game.

  • Pokémon and held items have been added for Regulation Set M-C.
  • Adjustments have been made to balance the battle system.
